No. Bluetooth is activated each time the radio is powered on. If you want to use it, just pair to it. If you dont pair to it, traditional AM and FM work normally. There are no extra buttons, switches etc. The faceplate stays completely stock. When you want to switch to FM, just unpair from your phone.
No. The addition of Bluetooth does not take anything away from the radio. All of the radio's current functionality remains.
No. My Bluetooth integration is not an FM transmitter type solution. The digital Bluetooth signal enters the radio and then straight to the amplifier from there. The tuner is bypassed completely
